Informing our friends and family about our battle with CDH. Ireland was born on Aug. 19, 2009 and sadly passed away Aug 30, 2009. Eleven days wasn't nearly enough time with her. She amazed us daily and we will all forever miss her. .........for information on eyemasks that I have made for other CHERUBS and NICU babies, please see the right hand side of this blog.

ReplyDeleteChanda,
ReplyDeleteI know it's been years since we've seen each other, but my hopes and prayers are with you. Seeing your beautiful daughter lying in the NICU brings back so many memories for me. It's been almost 1 year since I've lost my little Gage to Chromosome 6q 23.3-25.1 deletion (www.caringbridge.org/visit/gagewade). I am here for you. I know the roller coaster days. I know living in a hospital room NICU & PICU for 6 months of my brave son's life. I know what you are going through. I pray that for you and your family your daughter's battle ends differently than our did. I know that my baby boy is watching over your little one from Heaven. It's not easy by any means, but your daughter is a fighter. They all are and they can do amazing things. Please lean on me if you like. I have walked in your shoes and I know the feelings, the good days, the bad days and the days when you just don't think you can take any more. Give your sweet girl hugs and kisses and know that I am praying for her to be strong every day.
