Surgery Tomorrow

Well, no trial off today. They started to lower her ECMO flow and her BP just was too low. So they brought back up her flow and the Doc decided it was best to leave her on the ECMO and proceed with the surgery tomorrow @ 1515 MT. Thats 315 pm mountain... Chanda and I are starting to get pretty nervous but also believe that she is in great hands and that by staying on ECMO she has somewhat of a "safety net". She is looking really good lost alot of excess fluid so we hope the surgery will be pretty good. But of course tomorrow we will both be a wreck!!! So if you believe in praying, send one her way. Her are some pics from today. Fingers crossed for tomorrow....

  4. Sending prayers and many positive thoughts your way. Jaxson's surgery took about 4 hours and the nurses came about about twice with updates. It was nervewracking, but we got through it and you will too! Just think positive thoughts and just be there for each other.

  7. we are praying for Ireland! i hope everything goes great! I like your hospitals policy.....Jackson did very well on ecmo everyday, except the last day but they wouldn't do surgery on ecmo no matter what, and we had never heard of that! We're still upset about it......so be glad your in such good hands......by the way Ireland looks really good and i have such good feelings about her........i just know she will be home soon...love yall

  10. You guys, she looks so great for being on ECMO, not too much swelling from the pics. You are in great hands and I was a nervous wreck too when they did Ian's surgery on ECMO. The surgery helped his lungs expand more and get the heart back in the right position and I feel that gave him that push to come off of ECMO in a couple of days. Praying Ireland will do the same!! Praying for a successful operation and Ireland has an easy recovery and praying for strength for you all to get through tomorrow. Fight Ireland fight!!!

Much love to you all, Tracy
